Far West Division
HCA Healthcare’s Far West Division delivers high-quality, compassionate healthcare to the communities of Southern Nevada and Southern and Northern California. Our eight hospitals and large physician network offer industry-leading care in a broad range of specialties. With more than 16,000 colleagues, numerous access points and critical-care air and ground transportation networks, we ensure patients can get the best care when they need it.

Who we are
With eight hospitals, 21 urgent care centers, four freestanding emergency rooms and 10 ambulatory surgery centers, the Far West Division is helping to keep Nevada and California healthy.

Healthgrades
Healthgrades, which evaluates hospital quality for conditions and procedures based solely on clinical patient outcomes, recognized MountainView Hospital as a Top 250 Hospital. The organization also recognized several other programs at multiple locations including critical care, joint replacement and orthopedics, vascular surgery, surgery and gastrointestinal.

Awards and recognition for patient experience and safety
The Leapfrog Group
Developed under the guidance of a national expert panel, the Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade uses up to 27 measures of publicly available hospital safety data to assign grades to more than 2,600 U.S. acute care hospitals twice per year.
In 2021, The Leapfrog Group recognized Los Robles Health System with an A grade and MountainView Hospital with a B grade for Safety Performance.
American Heart Association
The American Heart Association presents the Get with the Guidelines-Stroke Quality Achievement Award to hospitals that deliver stroke treatment in accordance with nationally recognized, research-based guidelines. In 2021, several of our hospitals received the Gold Award, including:

The road ahead
We’re proud of what we accomplished in 2021, and we’re equally proud of our colleagues, physicians and partners who made it all possible.
