Largest single-year sum supports ccommunity health and equity initiatives
Las Vegas, Nev. – The HCA Healthcare Foundation has awarded $100,000 in grants to four Las Vegas-based nonprofit organizations, marking the largest single-year distribution of funds to the region. A special check presentation was held Friday at the HCA Far West Division Office in Henderson, where approximately 50 attendees gathered to celebrate this milestone and learn how these funds will benefit the local community.
The grants were awarded through the Foundation’s Healthier Tomorrow Fund, a community impact fund designed to support five key innovative initiatives addressing high-priority community health needs and health equity. These initiatives include increasing opportunity and access to healthcare careers, championing positive mental wellness, advocating and promoting heart health for all communities, improving access to cancer care for all communities and ensuring all families have a strong, healthy start.

- Jobs 4 Nevada Graduates – $25,000 Partnership Cultivation Grant
- Baby’s Bounty – $25,000 Partnership Cultivation Grant

“We are incredibly proud to support these outstanding organizations that are making a significant impact to support the health of our community,” said Chief Nursing Executive for HCA Healthcare’s Far West Division Annette Greenwood, who opened the event with remarks. “At HCA Healthcare, we believe in investing in programs that enhance the well-being of those we serve, and these grants reflect our commitment to improving health outcomes and advancing health equity.”

Attendees also participated in a meet-and-greet session and took part in group and individual organization photos to commemorate the occasion.
